About Me.

Hi there! My name is Michael Mendoza (he/him), and I’m a Curandero, and the owner of Healing Hands Holistic Therapy.

My journey as a healer has been one in the making for many years. Throughout my life, I’ve always been sensitive to spirits and supernatural phenomenon; however, I was reluctant to embrace these experiences out of fear, uncertainty, and judgment.

In April 2024, I died and crossed the veil where I was with Source. I was in the forest and the jungle with my ancestors, who shared that my work as a healer was not yet finished, so I returned with their blessing to step into my role as a teacher-healer. I signed my soul contract as a spiritual healer soon afterwards and have responded to the call of this work.

Since stepping into my role as a healer, I’ve been given the charge to have a foot in the natural and a foot in the supernatural and to be support the community around me. I’ve learned that the gift chooses you, you don’t choose the gift. My soul contract is to be an oracle and to channel the gifts that have been bestowed upon me for the greatest good of others.

My paternal grandmother, “Abuelita”, was of Mayan heritage and was a Curandera. Abuelita provided Mayan ancestral medicine to my family and others within the community. Despite Abuelita’s passing in 2018, her spirit has continued to be a guide to me as I’ve stepped into my role as a Curandero, and she continues to impart her wisdom upon me.

I offer spiritual guidance, mentorship, oracle card readings, and ancestral medicine to all prospective clients who seek spiritual services. My commitment is to foster a supportive environment where clients can achieve transformative outcomes in their wellness journey and become their most authentic selves. I have lived by the motto, “we all go through difficult times, and I’ll be with you during your difficult times”.

One of my principles is that wisdom and knowledge are to be shared with others and that my role is to guide, teach, and support. One of my highest goals is to facilitate holistic wellness, healing, and clarity for others.  

All are welcome to receive services and ancestral medicine. The gifts that have been bestowed upon me are not exclusive; my soul contract is to serve all who seek guidance, support, and healing. I look forward to being of service and keeping you company through your spiritual journey.
